TWENTY-NINE
I alluded to this a little last
night, but it’s worth repeating. Jimmy Fallon finds a way for to make all his
fans think he’s one of your friends. Falpals!
MONOLOGUE: Part of this monologue
made me want to see Slow Jamming the News again. That was such a great bit.
It’s about time we see it back with Brian Williams. Speaking of, when will we
see the NBC News frontman again?! Love the Lorax reference in the
monologue… Solid.
Oh man, that James Poyser reference
from the Late Night show. And he had no idea it was coming. It’s probably been three
months since the last time we saw it.
BOTTOM OF THE CHARTS is a bit
that’s short and sweet. It gives Jimmy a chance to do impressions and they’re
usually pretty good. Bottom of the Charts: Arnold
Schwarzenegger …
HASHTAGS: There will be a day
Rob Ford will be on the Tonight Show…It. Will. Happen. Hashtags: #RobFordBaby
GUESTS: Russell Crowe’s band
names was one of the best parts of the interview. Russell Crowe Is Great at Bad Band
Names
Wait… Jimmy can play the Harmonica?
Is there anything this man can’t do? And where was this Russell Crowe voice in
Les Miserables!? Russell Crowe and Jimmy Fallon Sing
Folsom Pris…
JOAN RIVERS: Well that was cool to
hear Carson’s
Tonight Show theme back in Studio 6A. But my goodness she is something special.
I think the Russell Crowe cutaway reactions says what everyone was thinking. Joan Rivers Returns to The Tonight
Show
The National was awesome. Sometimes
I feel they don’t get the credit they deserve. Solid music.
